The Koffee Pot Review

 The Koffee Pot Review

The Koffee Pot Bar and Café is located in the Northern Quarter in Manchester. Open since 1978, the restaurant has been ‘creating and curing hangovers’ with their delicious breakfast and brunch menu, followed by their endless drink options.

Once we arrived we were welcomed by staff, who said we could be waiting up to 30 minutes for a table, which was fine as it was a Sunday around 1pm so it was understandably quite busy!

After we waited for about 25 minutes, we were seated in a little booth which was very comfortable. The interior had a retro theme running throughout the venue – from the bright orange sign outside to the red booths, the high tables and chairs and a mixture of black and white tiles, and wood flooring.

Our waiter was very friendly, and also accommodating with our food requests. Due to some of us having food intolerances, he was extremely understanding and there were no issues when ordering or receiving our food.

The Koffee Pot’s ‘Vegan Belgian Waffle Stack’

I got the ‘Vegan Belgian Waffle Stack’, which was 2 waffles, caramalised apples, berry coulis, whipped cream and maple syrup. I got mine without the apples. The food cost £10 – which I thought was quite pricey for what I was getting.

Though it was rather expensive for what I got, the food quality was brilliant and very tasty. I would most likely get these again; however, it’s probably not worth that amount of money.

They have a huge variety of drink options, including cocktails and alcohol options, milkshakes (that you can add shots of alcohol into!), and a variety of soft and hot drinks. I decided to get a pint of the house beer (KP Brew Lager) which was £4. Good price for a pint, and it didn’t taste too bad either!

Overall, I’d recommend The Koffee Pot, but if you are going at a busy time be prepared to wait (possibly in the rain like we did), and expect pricey food.
